1. Introduction

Welcome to Little Heirloom. By using our website (littleheirloom.ie) and placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms govern your purchase of personalised keepsake products from us.

2. Who We Are

Little Heirloom is a business based in Ireland that creates custom keepsakes using children’s artwork and handwriting, including mugs, coasters, and other personalised items.

3. Orders & Personalisation

  • All products are made to order.

  • When placing an order, you must provide the correct artwork, handwriting scans, or text as you want them to appear. You are responsible for the quality and accuracy of what you submit.

  • You can supply additional personal data (e.g., name, date, age, short message) for inclusion on your product.

  • Because our items are customised, once production has started, orders cannot generally be cancelled or changed.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are shown in € (Euro).

  • Payment is required at the time of order.

  • We accept the payment methods available at checkout (credit card, PayPal, etc.).

  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes, VAT, import duties, or brokerage fees not included in your purchase price.

5. Shipping

  • We ship from our studio in Cork, Ireland.

  • Shipping costs and timelines are calculated at checkout and depend on your location.

  • International customers may be responsible for import duties or taxes.

  • Risk of loss passes to you when we hand over your package to the carrier.

6. Returns, Refunds & Faulty Items

  • Because all items are personalised, we do not accept returns for “change of mind.”

  • If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@littleheirloom.ie, with photos.

  • If the fault is verified, we will offer a replacement or a refund at our discretion.

  • We are not responsible for typographical or upload errors: you are responsible for ensuring your submitted artwork/handwriting is correct.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You confirm that any artwork or handwriting you submit is owned by you or that you have the rights to use it.

  • By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use the submitted material for the purpose of creating your ordered product.

  • We retain the right to use non-identifying photos of completed products for marketing (e.g., Instagram, website), unless you explicitly ask us not to.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Little Heirloom’s total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from or related to your order is limited to the price you paid for the product.

  • We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, emotional distress).

9. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.

  • We will post any changes on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

  • Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our site will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
